Alright, everyone, you just stop your hovering! Snickerdoodle has been quite right all along. When I think of all the time I have spent giving to people and then I see something like I have seen this morning. The child says he hates me! He says I am doing a bad job of being Santa!

Well, I will roast everyone's chestnuts... I may have to reconsider my position on the whole matter entirely. Yes, there are no lights left on the tree. You should be glad that there are ornaments left! Now, if you will all excuse me, I will be in my workshop.

Dear Santa, you must know that there is no one on this earth more beloved and appreciated than you. It's true that people might not think about your efforts all year long, but we never forget the magic you and your Elves bring to millions -- no billions -- whose lives need some brightening. I cannot imagine an Xmas celebration without you. What can we do to help you continue this special tradition?
With love and thanks,
Tresbien

Santa, please don't be angry, Snickerdoodle is not happy with his job in the complaint department, he wanted christmas canceled so he wouldn't have to read any more, please don't cancel christmas, we all need you very much, Christmas is the reason some of the troubles on earth are subsiding a bit, i'm sorry about the bratty letters, but there must be something we can do to help?

Dearest Santa,

Remember that you are part of the foundation of every child's life. Children learn many important lessons about living kind and thoughtful lives because of you; but along the way to the learning we can be such wicked little beasts.

First we learn to believe in magic--to wait for Christmas morning is almost more than we can bear. But oh, dear Santa, remember that a most terrible trickery is then done to us.

Our parents, meaning well, set out to convince us that you do not exist! When we cry and protest they wipe our cheeks and tell us we must be brave--as though some honor, some visible measure of maturation has been bestowed upon us.

When this has happened Christmas can be a dreadful time for a child. We are confused and unhappy. We lash out at you and stamp our feet at the market and behave absolutely dreadfully.

Though it sounds bleak, there is good news still. At some point, every adult child comes to believe again. Sometimes it happens when we have our own children or simply because we've learned to do without the pretense of adult sensibility.

Take heart and know that no matter the reason, we always come round.

♥,
s4r

Santa, I'm not supposed to tell you this yet (Sugar Plum will probably have my pointy elf shoes for this indiscretion) but the Random Acts team have something extra special planned this year.

Christmas is a magical time and only you, Santa, can provide that magic. While I'm not as wise as you I'm certain it's more than gift lists, sleigh inventories and specially chosen snarky letters.

I wish I could take a walk with you around the North Pole village and join the carolers, feed the reindeer and take a looksee at the 'jeu de snowballs' clearing.

Even better, you could take Mrs. C. skating one evening. Wager seeing Sugar Plum on the ice is quite spectacular. Though if the Cmas embers have indeed all expired I'll still be keeping Christmas in my heart.

Dear Santa,

It has been a long time since I wrote you a letter. I have been through children and am now on grandchildren. My adult children don't just believe, they KNOW you exist. They still remember the conversation you and I had in the attic many years ago when I had to tell you they weren't asleep yet and you so kindly said you would visit others then return.

They are passing on the love and joy of Christmas and Santa Claus to their children now. My 6 year old grandson came to me wide-eyed when he was 4 to confirm what his mommy had just told him; that she heard our conversation so many years ago.

Please don't let the disappoint- ments and anger of a few convince you the majority feels the same. Because we most certainly do not!

Warmest wishes to you and the Mrs. and the elves. May your holidays be as bright as you have made ours through the years.

Santa, your work is wonderfull, Christmas brings hapinness and hope to the people, that's the real sense of all your work. Maybe the tree this year will not be as beautifull as the other years but the true lights and ornaments are the dreams of every child who're waiting for you.
So don't be sad or angry, you are loved and we are here to help you... we all will work together to make the most beautifull christmas you've seen ;)
a hug for you
